Terms of service
These are the terms you agree to by using MaxEdge. They are written in plain English on purpose. Where a term affects your money or your legal rights, it says so plainly rather than burying it.

Who we are, and what these cover
MaxEdge (“we”, “us”) runs the service at maxedge.live. These terms are the agreement between you and us. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them.
Contact: support@maxedge.live, or the contact page.
What the service is
MaxEdge compares the prices a set of bookmakers publish on football matches, strips the margin out of them to estimate a fair price, and shows where the best available price sits against it. It also publishes a settled record of what it has shown.
- We are not a bookmaker and we hold no gambling licence. You cannot place a bet through us.
- We never hold your stake or your winnings. The only money we take is the subscription.
- We are not an affiliate. We take no commission for sending you to a bookmaker.
- We are an information service. What you do with the information is yours.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or over and legally allowed to gamble where you live. The service is built for Great Britain and the prices shown are those of bookmakers licensed here. If gambling is unlawful where you are, do not use it.
If we find an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it and refund any subscription paid.
Your account
- Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. An account is for you, not for a group.
- Give us an email address you can actually receive, because it is how we reach you about billing and about changes to these terms.
- Tell us at support@maxedge.live if you think someone else has got into your account.
Subscriptions, billing and price changes
- Billing runs through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. What we hold is listed in the privacy policy.
- It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
- A free trial, where offered, becomes a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. The trial length is shown at checkout.
- Prices can change, and we will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects you. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it.
- If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend access until it clears.
- Prices include VAT where it applies.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel whenever you like, in Settings, with no notice period and nothing to ask us for. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Fourteen days, full refund, no questions. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, email support@maxedge.live and we will refund you in full, whether or not you used the service. This is more generous than the law requires for a digital service you asked to start immediately, and we prefer it that way.
After 14 days we do not refund part of a period, but you will not be billed again once you cancel. If something went wrong at our end, ask anyway and we will look at it.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically copy the data, or resell it.
- Share your login, or republish what you see here as your own product or tipping service.
- Try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
- Use it to do anything unlawful, or to help anyone under 18 gamble.
Personal use includes reading, screenshotting and talking about what you find. It does not include building something on top of our feed.
Accuracy, availability and third-party data
Prices come from third-party bookmakers and data providers. We show them as faithfully as we can and we check what we publish, but:
- A price can move or disappear between us showing it and you reaching the bookmaker. The price you get is the one they offer you at that moment, not the one we displayed.
- A bookmaker may refuse, limit or void a bet under their own rules. That is between you and them and we have no part in it.
- Data can be late, wrong or missing, and a provider outage can leave the board thin or empty. We would rather show nothing than show something we do not trust.
- We do not promise the service is always available. We will try, and we will not pretend an outage did not happen.
No advice, and no guarantee
Nothing on MaxEdge is advice. Not financial advice, not investment advice, not a tip, and not a recommendation to place any bet. Every figure is an analysis of published prices, and an analysis is not a prediction.
No outcome is guaranteed and no profit is promised. Bookmakers build a margin into every price. Reading prices carefully does not remove it, and most people who bet lose money. Our settled record, including the losses, is at Performance.
Past results do not predict future ones. Only bet what you can afford to lose. See Responsible gambling.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Beyond that, and because this is an information service rather than a bookmaker:
- We are not liable for gambling losses. A bet is a decision you make with a bookmaker, and the money is at risk the moment it is placed.
- We are not liable for a bookmaker refusing, limiting, voiding or settling a bet in a way you disagree with.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or expected winnings.
- Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Who owns what
The site, the models, the analysis and the way it is presented are ours. Underlying fixtures, odds and statistics belong to the providers and bookmakers they come from.
You may use what you see for your own personal betting. You may not republish it, resell it, or build a product on it. What you put in — your bet log, your bankroll entries — stays yours, and you can export it at any time from Settings.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time in Settings. The delete is real: what it removes and what it cannot are set out in the privacy policy.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks §07, or where we are required to. If we close your account and you have not broken these terms, we will refund the unused part of your period.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you do not accept it. Smaller changes take effect when published, and the date at the top always says when they last moved.
Law, disputes and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
If something has gone wrong, tell us first at support@maxedge.live. We aim to answer within five working days and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
